The Pierces
I don't usually do this, but for the past couple nights I've been full of the urge to spread the word. And that's why I insist that you go here and turn your sound on. The MySpace page seems to play the whole album if you just leave it up. This is very different from all the music I've listened to for, oh, about five years. And that might be why I'm so excited by it. That, and it's really freaking good.

I would LOVE to listen to the Pierces, but I have freaking Vista, which means I have no plug in. ARG.
Loralee, is there another way you can hear music on your computer? If so I might be able to send you some stuff, or you could check out their videos on YouTube.
I've got 'em rolling right now I'm about half way through. I really dig their sound.
Even better than their sound, however, was their description on their myspace page. I thought that was possibly the most creative piece of writing currently on myspace. Perhaps on facebook too, but I don't want to overreach the boundaries between the two.
